Dear Friends,

Here’s a fun fact, buying vintage goods supports the circular economy by keeping furniture and other reusable treasures out of landfills. Giving vintage pieces a second life is not only good for the planet, but it allows you to create one-of-a-kind spaces that set you apart from the rest of the world. How cool is that?

Each year Americans throw away more that 12 million tons of furniture. Much of this waste is referred to as “fast furniture” and is made using poor-quality materials, toxic chemicals, and is oftentimes non-recyclable- meaning the life cycle of fast furniture is short. Buying vintage and upcycled goods just makes sense, right?

As a designer and lover of vintage goods, I always incorporate vintage pieces into my work. Not only is vintage less expensive and sustainable, these treasures give our spaces a soul and a story. Here is to creating your story.
